Stirling Mirrors
Stirling mirror is a sculpture mirror resulting from a collaboration with the designer Francesco Forcellini. The mirror reproduces the typical curvatures of this collection with softened corners, accentuated by minute incisions that form a rigorous geometric image. The diamond element, obtained by laser technology, defines the three-dimensionality of the mirror, available in fumé and bronze versions. This design object can be likened to a work of art, thanks to the use of a single sheet of glass and the presence of decorative etching, or curvature, and silver alloy. In order to preserve its unique characteristics, the silvering is done by hand, now a very rare practice that was used in glassworks until the mid-20th century.
